We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to support critical U.S. Navy defense programs involving advanced undersea warfare systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the development, testing, and deployment of undersea technologies that enhance naval warfighting capabilities and mission readiness.

Position Responsibilities

Hardware Development & Integration
  • Responsible for the development, fabrication, delivery, and testing, of prototype hardware systems. Integration of hardware into laboratory and operational shipboard environments. Development revision of hardware integration plans. Supporting hardware delivery and acceptance testing activities in accordance with Navy test plans.

Hardware Documentation
  • Experience in the development, updating, and maintenance of hardware development plans. Experience with incorporating documentation changes as a result of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), specification modifications, and test activities.

Hardware Analysis & Engineering Support
  • Experience in investigation and analysis of hardware faults and failures, performance degradation, operational anomalies, requirement deviations and system operability issues. Ability to perform root cause analyses and develop corrective actions, evaluate alternative solutions and system upgrades. Conduct engineering trade-off studies assessing: Technical performance, Program risk, Cost and Schedule impacts

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Towed, Hull and Sensor Systems hardware engineering.

Location: Newport, Rhode Island

Security Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
