RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - Cloud Governance & Risk Mngmt in San Antonio, TX.

Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support Cloud Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC) initiatives within a Cyber and Risk Management organization. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with strong risk and issue management skills who can quickly learn new processes, manage assignments through completion, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support cloud governance, risk, and control activities across AWS and other cloud environments
* Manage cloud application onboarding requests, ensuring governance requirements, controls, and approval workflows are followed
* Gather, analyze, and interpret information related to risk issues, control gaps, and governance activities
* Track assignments, monitor progress, and identify completed versus outstanding action items
* Facilitate issue management activities by evaluating risks, documenting findings, and communicating status updates to stakeholders
* Partner with business teams to gather requirements, conduct meetings, and coordinate review and approval processes
* Prioritize use cases and onboarding requests based on business needs and governance requirements
* Utilize ServiceNow dashboards, Jira stories, and reporting tools to monitor work progress and support process improvements
* Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies within governance and onboarding processes
* Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and third-party partners responsible for execution and support activities
* Strengthen governance frameworks and risk controls, particularly within SaaS environments
* Support ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) governance and compliance activities using established processes and tools

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, Governance Analyst, or related experience
* Strong risk and issue management experience
* Experience facilitating discussions and working directly with business stakeholders
* Experience using Jira and/or ServiceNow
* Understanding of governance, risk, and control (GRC) processes
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities
* Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to gather, review, and interpret information to assess risk, identify gaps, and drive issues to resolution

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting cloud governance programs
* Experience supporting cybersecurity, technology risk, or enterprise risk management teams
* Experience driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, or workflow automation initiatives
* Experience working in highly regulated environments
* Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS service models
* Familiarity with AWS cloud environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
