Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom Salesforce solutions that support business operations across NextEra Energy Resources. This role requires strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms
- Support data migration, transformation, and quality initiatives within the Salesforce platform
- Participate in code reviews, adhere to best practices, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and defects in a timely manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts including automation, AI/ML integration, and platform optimization
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodology, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Support deployment activities using Salesforce DevOps tools and practices
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL
- Experience with Salesforce configuration including Flows, Process Builder, and declarative tools
- Knowledge of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules
- Understanding of integration patterns and experience with REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and deployment tools
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Experience with Salesforce Communities, Service Cloud, or Sales Cloud
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies and their application in Salesforce
- Knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
