JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Solutions Lead to drive the business-led
deployment of engineering and maintenance management solutions across our global
manufacturing network. This role will lead the rollout and adoption of engineering systems
supporting maintenance operations, asset reliability, and engineering management,
ensuring solutions meet operational needs and deliver measurable improvements in equipment
reliability, maintenance efficiency, and asset performance.
The Engineering Solutions Lead will act as the primary business owner and champion for
engineering and maintenance capabilities, working closely with site engineering teams,
reliability leaders, IT, and external vendors to ensure successful implementation and adoption of
engineering systems.
This individual will bring deep experience in maintenance and reliability practices, strong
leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record supporting or leading multi-site
engineering system deployments within regulated manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Solution Deployment & Leadership
Lead the global deployment of engineering and maintenance management systems across
manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and business objectives.
Drive the business-side implementation of engineering capabilities including maintenance
planning, work management, asset management, and reliability programs.
Provide leadership and guidance to site engineering and maintenance teams during
implementation, ensuring consistent adoption of standardized engineering processes and best
practices.
Business Ownership of Engineering & Maintenance Processes
Serve as the business lead and subject matter expert for maintenance and engineering
processes across the manufacturing network.
Translate operational engineering requirements into solution capabilities and ensure systems
effectively support real-world asset management and maintenance constraints.
Champion continuous improvement in maintenance and reliability practices, leveraging new
capabilities provided by engineering technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the primary interface between site engineering teams, operations leadership,
reliability teams, IT, and external solution vendors.
Ensure strong alignment between business needs and technical implementation during solution
deployment.
Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new engineering systems
and processes across sites.
Deployment Program Support
Support engineering solution rollout activities including business requirements definition,
testing, site readiness preparation, training, and hypercare support.
Provide leadership during deployment phases to resolve business process challenges and
ensure solutions deliver expected operational value.
Share lessons learned and best practices across implementation waves.
Engineering Capability Development
Help define and evolve the global engineering and maintenance capability roadmap for
asset management and reliability improvement.
Contribute to the design of future-state maintenance processes that improve equipment
reliability, asset lifecycle management, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will bring strong maintenance and engineering operations experience
combined with exposure to engineering system implementations in complex manufacturing
environments.
Must Have
Education
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
Industry Experience
10 15 years of experience working in engineering, maintenance, or reliability roles within a
regulated manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or similar).
Engineering & Maintenance Expertise
Deep understanding of maintenance and reliability processes including:
Preventive and corrective maintenance
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
Predictive maintenance techniques
Meter-based maintenance strategies
Asset lifecycle management
Maintenance planning and scheduling
Maintenance within regulated manufacturing environments
Engineering Systems Experience
Strong functional experience with engineering and maintenance management systems,
including:
(Plant Maintenance)
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms
Deployment Experience
Experience supporting or leading engineering system implementations or deployments
across multiple manufacturing sites.
Communication & Leadership
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively
across engineering teams, operations leadership, IT partners, and external vendors.
Strongly Preferred
Engineering Systems Experience
Experience working with engineering and asset management platforms such as:
SAP PM
Maximo
Infor EAM
Other enterprise asset management systems
Exposure to multiple engineering platforms and system deployments is highly desirable.
Advanced Maintenance & Reliability Programs
Experience implementing or working within advanced reliability programs including:
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
Predictive and condition-based maintenance
Digital maintenance or connected asset initiatives
Global Manufacturing Network Experience
Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites and global operations, supporting
cross-site engineering standardization and capability development.
Change Leadership
Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new engineering tools and maintenance processes
within operational teams.
