Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to apply technical knowledge in determining end-to-end design requirements for large projects. This role involves working closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determining requirements, and developing functional designs. The position requires driving and participating in the design, development, and implementation of large and complex enterprise-wide applications, often using new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
- Work with stakeholders to understand needs, analyze problems, and elicit requirements/stories.
- Gather and apply technical knowledge into use cases, process models, and technical requirements into JIRA Epics and Stories.
- Collaborate with the Development Team to refine and estimate story requirements and with the Product Owner to evaluate Features.
- Act as the communication hub between technical teams and business partners.
- Document detailed functional and technical requirements for business needs in JIRA.
- Provide support to Testing to clarify requirements and ensure test plans satisfy requirements.
- Facilitate discussions, conduct presentations, and deliver technical requirements.
- Prepare graphics, workflows, and illustrations to complement technical design writing.
Required Qualifications
- 9 years of experience as a Program Manager.
- 7+ years of practical agile experience.
- Experience as a Business Analyst converting business needs into epics and stories.
- Experience refining business processes and testing.
- Background in technology projects and understanding of the full SDLC.
- Proficiency with JIRA and other agile tools such as Confluence.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with the Office suite, including Visio.
- Strong communication and network relationship-building skills.
- Experience in being a Product Owner or working closely with one to define business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL and other data tools.
- Familiarity with the Horizon toolset.
- Experience with Change Management processes.
