Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the end-to-end data transformation layer. This is a technical execution-focused role centered on maintaining and optimizing a modern data stack. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting scalable data models, pipelines, and analytics infrastructure with minimal business interaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize dbt as the primary data transformation and orchestration tool.
- Manage backend operations and query performance within BigQuery.
- Develop, monitor, and support data pipelines using Airflow.
- Build and maintain enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau.
- Execute technical workflows and automation using Python and SQL.
- Support cloud-based analytics engineering initiatives and platform maintenance.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt and BigQuery.
- Experience working with Airflow for workflow orchestration and maintenance.
- Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
- Advanced Tableau dashboard development experience.
- Comfortable working in CLI environments and using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude.
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks is acceptable as alternative cloud data platforms.
