Job Description
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer - Intermediate professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in QA automation, Agile delivery, and modern CI/CD practices and a proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable automated test solutions that improve software quality and delivery speed.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for web, API, and backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and coverage.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, repeatable execution.
- Apply Agile practices within a Scrum or Kanban framework to deliver incremental value.
- Implement and advocate for Test Driven Development and shift-left quality practices.
- Contribute to code reviews, defect analysis, and root cause remediation.
- Support deployment readiness with test data management, environment validation, and resiliency checks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Skilled test automation engineer with experience building and supporting test automation using selenium, playwright, jmeter tools
- Candidate should have experience in running end to end tests and performance based tests
- Working proficiency with QA automation tools and frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies within a common framework.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, cloud development, application resiliency, and security practices.
- Foundational understanding across software engineering disciplines including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders.
- Experience level: 3+ years in QA automation or software engineering roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms and pipeline tooling.
- Prior work in Agile/Scrum settings with shift-left testing practices.
