Location: Remote (U.S.)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential extension
Start Date: Late April 2026

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple technology initiatives within a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on managing projects related to claims system integration and annual enrollment planning, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management (initiation through implementation and closure)
• Manage multiple concurrent IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Track and report on project performance, including risks, issues, and key metrics
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business and technical teams
• Communicate project status clearly to stakeholders, including leadership updates
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; escalate issues as needed
• Ensure delivery of high-quality project documentation (requirements, test plans, training materials, etc.)
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• 2–5+ years of IT project management experience in large-scale environments
• PMP certification (required)
• Experience managing project budgets and financials
• Strong proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or health insurance environments
• Familiarity with claims systems and integrations
• Prior experience working in similar organizational environments
