Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate, and deliver defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program
- Communicate the work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables
- Ensure execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost
- Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
Requirements: - 5 years of experience
- General background and understanding of project management and project documentation
- Experience of working on large/complex projects which involve multiple applications development
- Ability to navigate through technical discussions, influence discussions, and gain consensus on topics such as design, timing, and scope
- Ability to understand the Technical Design/Architecture of the project
- Proficient with APIs structure and ability to connect the dots between different systems involved in the flow
- Knowledge of working on project's Risk & Governance documentation
- Fully conversant with Agile Lean Software Delivery Life Cycle and/or iterative development life cycles
- Ability to work in an high paced work environment
- Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities
- Organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability
Desired skills: - Prior experience in the banking industry, specifically in the Online Banking space
- Prior experience working as part of a Lean-Agile team
Pay range: $52.10 - $60.10
