Overview
The Clinical Imaging Analyst provides technical expertise in the evaluation, engineering/design, configuration, and implementation of imaging-related technologies and workflows within the Clinical Imaging environment. This role supports system functionality across PACS, modality configurations, voice recognition platforms, and associated imaging technologies. Candidates with prior Biomed experience are strongly preferred, with working familiarity in GE or Siemens environments.
The ideal candidate has foundational experience in imaging systems, can independently troubleshoot application issues, and is capable of performing configuration tasks such as adding send destinations and Modality Worklist (MW) settings. The team can further train analysts who have a baseline understanding of device-level configuration and imaging workflows.
This role may require 25-50% travel depending on project or site needs, including on-site support at regional locations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering, configuration, and implementation support for Clinical Imaging technologies (PACS, modalities, voice recognition systems, etc.).
- Perform device-level and system-level configuration, including adding send destinations and Modality Worklist (MW) entries.
- Support troubleshooting of imaging application issues independently, escalating only when necessary.
- Respond to user inquiries by listening, clarifying, and delivering effective solutions.
- Analyze issue patterns and apply technical knowledge based on established procedures and system specifications.
- Maintain accurate and clear technical documentation according to departmental standards.
- Collaborate and share knowledge effectively within the Clinical Imaging team.
- Participate in on-site visits as needed to support installations, troubleshooting, or workflow assessments.
- Assist in workflow optimization and contribute to the implementation of new products, technologies, or process improvements that align with corporate imaging requirements.
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in Clinical Imaging, Imaging Informatics, or related technical/biomed environments.
- Prior Biomed experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with GE and/or Siemens imaging equipment and configuration workflows.
- Ability to modify modality configurations (e.g., destinations, AE Titles, MW settings).
- Working knowledge of imaging standards and systems such as DICOM, HL7, PACS, and modality networking.
- Basic awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends in Healthcare IT and Clinical Imaging.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel 25-50%, depending on project needs
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required (Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field preferred).
