FileCloud Administrator/AWS Cloud Administrator/Infrastructure Technical Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Technical Specialist (ITS) with strong experience in AWS, AWS Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and FileCloud administration. This role will serve as the primary administrator for AWS cloud environments, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cloud infrastructure, supporting enterprise applications, and delivering technical support to end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer AWS cloud infrastructure supporting business applications.
• Maintain and support AWS-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
• Administer FileCloud, including user onboarding, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability of cloud-based systems.
• Perform system patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards.
• Support cloud deployments, server builds, and data migration tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide on-call support during nights and weekends as required.
• Maintain documentation and provide regular status updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing AWS infrastructure supporting enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of experience managing AWS VDI environments.
• 5+ years of experience administering FileCloud, including user support and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience with MongoDB (basic administration preferred).
• Experience with cloud security practices and compliance standards.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex distributed environments.
• Experience with server builds, data migration, and cloud deployments.
• Experience working with networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in secure or regulated environments.
• Experience with automation tools and deployment scripting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Java or .NET-based applications.
