Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Associate Quality Control - NS for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Holly Springs, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Summary: This role involves executing Quality Control activities within a GMP-regulated environment. The successful candidate will perform routine and complex analytical testing in chemistry, bioassay, and microbiology, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation. The position requires working a 2pm-10pm schedule, either Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday.
Responsibilities: - Execute QC activities, including sample receipt, prioritization, and accurate entry into LIMS
- Perform routine and complex analytical testing in chemistry, bioassay, and/or microbiology, including STAT testing as required
- Ensure accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with GDP, GMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
- Support laboratory investigations related to deviations or OOS results and communicate shift-level risks to QC leadership
- Utilize electronic systems including LIMS, Biovia (LES, ELN, CIMS/CISPro), and Veeva Vault (QualityDocs, QMS)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet testing timelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements: - High school/GED with 2+ years of work experience, OR an Associate's degree with 6+ months of work experience, OR a Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
- Laboratory or aseptic knowledge
- Ability to work independently
Desired skills: - Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience
Pay range: up to $44.37 per Hour
