Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a NOC Shift Lead - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities - Supervise NOC shift personnel, ensuring effective real-time monitoring of network infrastructure and services.
- Validate incident triage and escalation decisions, directing restoration activities to maintain service-level objectives.
- Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Maintain continuous situational awareness of enterprise system health, providing timely updates and reports.
- Review and ensure the quality and completeness of operational documentation and ticketing.
- Provide shift-level performance reporting to leadership, highlighting key operational metrics and outcomes.
- Oversee adherence to operational runbooks, ensuring consistent and effective network operations.
- Act as the on-shift escalation authority for complex operational challenges.
Required Skills Required Qualifications - Clearance: TS//SCI Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, SSCP
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supervising NOC functions within DoD or Federal environments.
- Proven ability to manage real-time monitoring and ensure network service continuity.
- Experience in validating incident management processes and coordinating restoration efforts.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear operational performance reporting.
Desired Skills Desired Qualifications - Clearance: Active TS//SCI preferred
- Experience with ARNG or similar military network operations environments.
- Familiarity with DoDIN services and their application within a distributed enterprise infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity practices within a federal IT context.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure situations.
