Summary

Preface

The intersection of high-performance computing and the biomolecular sciences demands a rare synthesis of computational rigor and first-principles scientific intuition. This role is designed for individuals possessing an elite academic pedigree—specifically a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field—who can navigate the complexities of deep learning within the context of biophysical simulation. The successful candidate will not merely manage timelines but will bridge the gap between theoretical ML architectures and their application to atomic-level drug discovery. By mastering the nuances of generative modeling and structural prediction, you will facilitate the translation of abstract algorithmic concepts into tangible breakthroughs in molecular dynamics and therapeutic design.

The Mission

StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber Technical Program/Product Manager to orchestrate the development of frontier Machine Learning models applied to the domain of drug discovery and computational biophysics. In this high-visibility capacity, you will drive the systemic integration of generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and 3D structural prediction frameworks. Your mission is to synchronize the efforts of elite research and engineering teams as they exploit specialized supercomputing architectures to decode the behavior of biologically significant molecules, ultimately accelerating the identification and optimization of novel therapeutic candidates.

Core Technical Objectives

  • Orchestrate the full lifecycle of ML-driven research initiatives, focusing on the deployment of generative models for de novo molecular design and property prediction (PK/ADME).

  • Formalize execution workflows for advanced biomolecular simulations, ensuring the precision and scalability of 3D structure prediction and molecular dynamics protocols.

  • Synthesize multi-modal data strategies by managing the identification, acquisition, and validation of massive scientific datasets essential for training high-fidelity models.

  • Optimize interdisciplinary collaboration by translating complex research objectives into actionable engineering milestones, bridging the gap between ML theorists and biophysicists.

  • Engineer strategic partnerships with external vendors and third-party entities to bolster computational infrastructure and expand data access.

  • Validate project trajectories through robust risk-mitigation frameworks and strategic infrastructure alignment in coordination with senior leadership.

Candidate DNA

  • Architectural Philosophy: You possess a deep understanding of the ML lifecycle, from algorithmic inception to the deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) in specialized scientific contexts.

  • Technical Versatility: Adept at managing complex, high-stakes technical projects that require a granular understanding of both software engineering and the underlying physics of molecular systems.

  • Execution Mastery: Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams through the Goal-Execution-Mapping process, ensuring that research breakthroughs translate into scalable technical assets.

  • Communication Precision: Exceptional ability to articulate technical constraints and scientific possibilities to both deeply technical researchers and executive stakeholders.

Academic & Research Pedigree

  • Elite Educational Foundation: An advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Chemistry, or a closely related STEM discipline is required.

  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record in coordinating technical projects within the realms of AI, deep learning, or computational biology.

  • Mathematical Rigor: A first-principles understanding of the mathematical foundations of ML and its application to high-dimensional scientific data.
