Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a C++ Consultant for a remote contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities :
We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software development, with a strong focus on C++ programming, and a comprehensive understanding of modern IT infrastructure. This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex applications across various platforms, and application development projects, and collaborating within agile teams to deliver innovative solutions. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies.

Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ applications for diverse platforms and environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and testing.
Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to application performance or infrastructure.

Required Skills:

5+ years' experience in developing multithreaded C++ software systems in Linux
Experience in developing real-time C++ software systems
Experience working on a fast paced Agile development team
Experience in Test-Driven Development or behavioral-driven development methodology
Experience with C++17 standard
Experience with profiling, memory leak detection and other code analysis
