Oracle CPQ Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Architect to lead the architecture, design, implementation, and integration of Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud, configuration and pricing models, commerce processes, integrations, and enterprise Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) solutions.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, sales teams, enterprise architects, and technical teams to design scalable CPQ solutions that integrate with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, CRM platforms, and downstream fulfillment and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions for complex enterprise business processes.
• Design and implement Configure-to-Order (CTO), Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Configure Oracle CPQ Product Catalog, Configuration, Pricing, Commerce, and Document Designer components.
• Design complex product configuration rules, constraints, attributes, BOM structures, and compatibility rules.
• Develop sophisticated pricing, discounting, approval, and business rules within Oracle CPQ.
• Design quote and proposal workflows, including approvals, revisions, renewals, amendments, and quote lifecycle management.
• Architect integrations between Oracle CPQ and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/Order Management.
• Integrate CPQ with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Design integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Define integration patterns for customer, product, pricing, inventory, quote, order, and contract data.
• Work with Oracle Fusion Order Management to support seamless CPQ-to-Order processing.
• Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable CPQ architecture and technical specifications.
• Establish development standards, governance, security, performance, and deployment strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex configuration, pricing, integration, and performance issues.
• Provide technical leadership to Oracle CPQ developers and implementation teams.
• Support SIT, UAT, deployment, production rollout, and post-production stabilization.
• Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to Oracle CPQ best practices.

Experience & Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle CPQ experience
• Proven experience as an Oracle CPQ Architect / Technical Architect / Solution Architect
• Multiple end-to-end Oracle CPQ implementations
• Experience architecting integrations between CPQ, CRM, ERP, and downstream systems
• Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash and Configure-to-Order business processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
