The Process Engineer is a key role that creates drawings for manufactured product, tooling, equipment, and facility layouts for various projects. The Process Engineer will communicate regularly with Operation and Production Managers to assess existing processes.

In this role, the Process Engineer identify, coordinate, and implement improvements in processes, tooling, and equipment to achieve cost savings and efficiency enhancements while maintaining safety and quality. The Process Engineer will create drawings for quoting and manufacture of conventional and super abrasive products.

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving a common purpose. Your role will be to:
  • Create drawings for manufacturing of tooling and equipment from the initial design through the preparation of bill of materials project cost and justification and requisitioning of both purchased and manufactured products.
  • Solve complex problems; take on a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Maintain and ensure the engineering change records and drawings are updated to current specifications and revision levels.
  • Ensure processes comply with best practices in safety and quality standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred areas of education, certifications, and skills; manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering
  • Experience with AutoCad, SolidWorks, and office computer software
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good analytical skills, interpersonal, communication and visualization skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting environment
