Role Overview
We are seeking a technical writer to transform how cybersecurity documentation is created, managed, and consumed. This role is instrumental in enabling self-service, improving developer experience, and powering AI-driven tools. You will work at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI-enabled knowledge management, helping to modernize documentation into a scalable and structured ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate, rationalize, and index existing help materials from platforms such as wikis, FAQs, and runbooks into a single source of truth.
- Design and implement a unified, structured documentation framework optimized for developers and application teams.
- Architect documentation and metadata to be AI-consumable, including semantic structuring and tagging to support AI tools and chatbots.
- Produce technical documentation, reference architectures, and reusable integration patterns across key enterprise platforms like identity, secrets management, and DevOps tooling.
- Enhance the self-service experience through improved documentation quality, centralized indexing, and clear usage guidance to reduce the burden on support teams.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to create clear, structured documentation for complex systems such as IAM, APIs, and workflows.
- Experience with documentation structuring, including modular and reusable content, and information architecture.
- Experience consolidating content from various sources like Wikis (Confluence, SharePoint), Runbooks, SOPs, and FAQs.
- Understanding of metadata tagging, semantic structuring, and content chunking for AI readiness.
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), privileged access, secrets management, and access request workflows.
- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), chatbot knowledge grounding, and prompt optimization.
- Experience writing API documentation, integration guides, and developer onboarding materials.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, security teams, and support teams to translate subject matter expertise into documentation.
