We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to consult on complex software engineering initiatives. This role involves analyzing large-scale challenges, contributing to resolutions, and collaborating with client personnel. The position focuses on owning and defining the end-to-end documentation strategy for assigned product areas, ensuring content is accurate, scalable, and aligned with product updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the documentation strategy across assigned product areas.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, job aids, FAQs, and API documentation.
- Manage documentation repositories using Confluence and SharePoint.
- Partner with Product Owners, Application Managers, and Engineers to gather requirements and ensure technical accuracy.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning and backlog refinement.
- Create and manage user stories and documentation-related tasks in Jira.
- Apply user-centered design principles to improve content usability.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technical writing, product support, or project delivery.
- 2+ years of Product Owner experience within Agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with API documentation and developer-facing content.
- Experience working within Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for tracking and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
- Experience supporting developer tools or engineering platforms.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scrum Certification, or PMP.
- Experience with NexusOne technology.
