About this Position:

Job Title: Front End Web Developer / Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform requirements analysis to develop detailed requirements from existing high-level requirements for each key area (API & Web Apps).

• Develop design documents for each of the key areas (API and Web Apps). The design must include architecture and detailed design.

• Implement code enhancements to existing proof-of-concept web solutions to add foundational capabilities such as authentication, audit logs, search capabilities, and other User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) enhancements. In addition, two existing web applications must be combined into a single Angular/Spring Boot solution.

• Develop API in Java/Spring Boot to provide data access to client's data.

• Develop test cases for the client's Data Access API.

• Create test cases for the Angular web application which can be executed through Selenium's automation capabilities.

• Conduct thorough testing, provide progress reports, and perform knowledge transfer sessions to staff to ensure long term sustainability.

• Deliver all agreed upon reports, specifications, code updates, scripts, and documentation in accordance with acceptance criteria.

• Participate in project planning sessions, status meetings, and milestone reviews to ensure that all deliverables are completed on schedule and meet acceptance criteria.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or engineering field from a recognized college or university. A recognized college or university is defined as an institution of higher learning approved by the Office of Higher Education of any given state or a foreign college or university of comparable standing. OR Eight (8) years of experience (i.e., minimum of four (4) years + four (4) additional qualifying years). -Must attach Degree(s) or demonstrate additional qualifying experience below to meet the minimum qualifications and, where applicable, obtain points for desirable qualifications.

• Four (4) years of experience in front end web development tools, techniques and methods for user-facing interfaces.

• Two (2) years of relevant experience in developing, modifying or enhancing Java web applications.

• Four (4) years of relevant experience in developing, modifying or enhancing Angular web applications.

Desirable Qualification:

• Candidates must provide documentation of a Master's or Doctorate from a recognized institution, or substitute it with two additional years of experience beyond the requirement, to qualify for points or meet minimum standards.

• Five (5) years of experience in front end web development tools, techniques and methods for user-facing interfaces.

• Three (3) years of relevant experience in developing, modifying or enhancing Java web applications.

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in developing, modifying or enhancing Angular web applications.
