Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer V to join our team in Redmond, Washington. This is an onsite position with the possibility of extension after 6 months based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in RF hardware design, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop RF schematics, layout, and collaborate with vendors for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and manufacturing for research systems and devices.
• Perform RF link budget analysis and debug RF issues in the lab.
• Conduct simulation (RF circuit simulation and 3D EM Simulation), performance tuning/optimization, and validation of RF conducted performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance meets requirements at the component, board, and system levels.
• Work with antenna and test engineers to ensure the quality of the overall system.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in RF hardware design for consumer electronics.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (BSEE required).
• Experience with RF front-end and SoC schematic, layout capture, and board bring-up.
• Proficiency in using RF lab equipment for device characterization, debugging, and component/system performance validation.
• Experience with RF circuit and EM simulation software.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in RF/Electromagnetics.
• 5+ years of industry experience in RF hardware design.
• Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools like Cadence or Altium.
• Expertise in WiFi/BT or Cellular RF module design, optimization, and validation.

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Preferred: MS or PhD in RF/Electromagnetics.
