Genesis10 is currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Las Colinas, TX, Charlotte, NC, Phoenix, AZ, or San Francisco, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives within Specialty Software Engineering. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement ServiceNow Service Catalog solutions, including items, forms, workflows, and integrations within an Agile/Scrum environment. This position also involves leveraging AI-assisted tools for development and analysis.
Responsibilities: - Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives)
- Design and develop ServiceNow Service Catalog solutions, including catalog items, UI forms, workflows, and integrations
- Implement features based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Perform unit testing and support end-to-end SDLC processes
- Manage update sets for code packaging and promotion across environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve production defects, performing root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Leverage AI-assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and NowAssist Agents) to accelerate system design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting
- Apply AI responsibly in development and production environments, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and ethical standards
Requirements: - 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, particularly the Service Catalog module, using Yokohama version or higher
- 3-5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- 3-5 years of experience with ServiceNow Business Rules, Scripting, and application development
- 3-5 years of experience with ServiceNow ATF scripting or other automated testing tools
- 2-3 years of experience in Integration and API development (using REST, JSON, etc.)
- Must hold both ServiceNow CSA and CAD Certifications
- Experience with NowAssist Agentic AI (Conversational Catalog, etc.)
Desired skills: - 2-3 years of experience on ServiceNow ECPro or latest portal development
- 2 years of experience on Catalog Builder or equivalent citizen developer tools
- Proficiency on Report Analytics, Workspace, Survey, ITSM, CMDB and other ServiceNow modules
- Experience on APIGEE, ESGA, Ansible, Amelia or other orchestration and interface tools
