Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant

Location: São Paulo, Brazil (Local Candidates Preferred)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on ABAP development expertise and proven experience in Brazilian Tax Reform and Brazil SAP Tax Localization. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain SAP solutions supporting Brazilian tax processes while collaborating with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Candidates currently residing in Brazil, particularly São Paulo, are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom objects.
• Implement technical solutions supporting Brazilian Tax Reform and Brazil-specific tax requirements.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Perform ABAP debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Support SAP tax-related implementations, enhancements, and system integrations.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow SAP development standards and best practices.
• Support ongoing SAP implementation and enhancement projects.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant or Developer.
• Proven experience with Brazilian Tax Reform and/or Brazil SAP Tax Localization.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and SAP technical architecture.
• Experience developing reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom objects.
• Portuguese language proficiency is mandatory.
• Currently residing in Brazil, preferably São Paulo.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of Brazilian tax processes and SAP localization.
• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies.
• Experience supporting long-term SAP implementation or enhancement projects.
