Description:
The Digital Accessibility Specialist plays a key role in advancing the Accessibility Center of Excellence (COE) by partnering with Product, UX, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver accessible, inclusive digital experiences at scale. In this role, you will conduct audits of design systems and content platforms, perform manual and automated accessibility testing across web and mobile applications, and ensure alignment with WCAG 2.2 AA and related accessibility standards. You will identify barriers, document high-quality defects and requirements, and contribute to training, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead accessibility evaluations of design systems and content management platforms.
  • Develop accessibility documentation requirements to support users of internal systems and platforms.
  • Create and contribute guidance materials, job aids, checklists, and training content for accessibility knowledge repositories.
  • Assess web and mobile experiences using assistive technologies and automated testing tools to uncover accessibility issues.
  • Validate products against WCAG 2.2 AA criteria and other relevant accessibility standards.
  • Write clear, actionable accessibility defects with detailed reproduction steps, user impact, and standards mapping.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, and QA teams to embed accessibility into Agile development workflows.
  • Advocate for inclusive design and help teams understand real-world user scenarios involving assistive technologies.
  • Uphold organizational values such as respect, integrity, inclusivity, and safety.
