RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Irvine, CA for a 6 month Contract-to-Hire position.
Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the friendly and reliable point of contact for our clients. You will assist with policy questions, billing, and claims, while supporting our agents to deliver the outstanding service our agency is known for.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver top-tier customer service via phone, email, and in person
* Handle policy updates, billing inquiries, and claims support
* Assist agents with administrative tasks and client follow-up
* Maintain accurate and organized client records
* Represent our agency with professionalism and care
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Handle 20+ inbound calls per day - longer calls to help with
* Act as first point of contact for clients
Support with:
* Policy questions
* Claims-related inquiries
* Renewal reminders
* Issue resolution
* Route qualified opportunities to the sales team
* Maintain organized records and provide calm, professional customer service
REQUIREMENTS:
* Conversational in Mandarin is required
* Coachable and eager to learn well train the right person
* Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented
* Strong communication and organization skills
* Comfortable learning new systems and processes
* Previous customer service or insurance experience a plus (but not required)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
