Length: 3 months
This short-term (approximately
3-month) contract role is responsible for building the foundational dataset required to support an external workforce program. The analyst will serve as the day-to-day resource for data collection, validation, reconciliation, and cross-functional communication across multiple enterprise systems and teams. The role is critical to ensuring a complete, accurate, and auditable worker-level dataset.
Key Responsibilities
Data Build- Extract, compile, and maintain the master external workforce dataset using security/badging, VMS, contracts, and ERP/AP systems
- Perform detailed worker-level data reconciliation across multiple systems
- Validate required data fields for each worker
- Normalize and standardize supplier names, worker identities, and contract references
- Maintain ongoing dataset updates, including delta comparisons as workforce changes occur
Analysis- Review and interpret contract documents (e.g., PDFs, SOWs) to extract key commercial and workforce data fields
- Support spend analysis by aligning purchase orders and invoices to individual workers where feasible
Data Governance- Identify and flag data gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies for escalation
- Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, IT, and business stakeholders to validate data accuracy
Communication- Present weekly progress updates, risks, and findings clearly to program leadership
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills across multiple systems
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), VMS platforms, and procurement data
- Ability to interpret contracts and extract structured data from unstructured documents (PDFs/SOWs)
- Advanced Excel skills (data cleansing, matching, lookups, pivot tables)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with accuracy
- Experience in procurement, finance, or P2P environments preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
