Job Description

We are looking for a Senior OT Data Specialist with strong Oil & Gas industry experience and hands-on expertise in AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Historian, industrial time-series data, instrumentation, and OT environments.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of refinery and midstream operations, PI tags, DCS/SCADA systems, process measurements, and industrial equipment. Must be capable of connecting operational data with physical assets and supporting data analytics and AI initiatives.

This is a hands-on OT/data SME role, not a traditional software development or Data Engineering position.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Midstream, or Petrochemical industries.
• Strong hands-on experience with OSIsoft PI / AVEVA PI Historian.
• Knowledge of PI Tags, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and time-series data.
• Experience with DCS/SCADA, instrumentation, and industrial processes.
• Understanding of pumps, compressors, pipelines, tanks, and refinery operations.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and PFDs.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Databricks for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Operations, Process Engineering, Reliability, and OT teams.
• Strong industrial data troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Aperio DataWise experience (or willingness to learn).
• SAP PM/EAM and asset management knowledge.
• Experience with Ignition, Wonderware, DeltaV, or Honeywell.
• Exposure to Predictive Maintenance, AI/ML, and Industrial Analytics.
• Basic Python/PySpark knowledge.
