Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Richardson, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing endpoint devices, maintaining access controls, and supporting Microsoft 365 operations with an emphasis on security compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and managing IT systems while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Provision and deprovision laptops for employees within Intune ensuring compliance with device enrollment, encryption, and security policies.
Maintain and update inventory records, including asset tags, serial numbers, user assignments, and device statuses.
Oversee patch and update compliance for endpoint devices and address any issues promptly.
Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, group memberships, and shared mailboxes.
Enforce security policies and execute conditional access updates as required.
Handle user access provisioning and revocation across Microsoft 365 and other approved SaaS platforms.
Log and monitor access changes, escalating privilege concerns or anomalies when necessary.
Address IT support tickets, resolving issues efficiently or escalating them to appropriate teams.
Troubleshoot workstation and basic network connectivity problems, coordinating with vendors when needed.
Provide weekly status updates detailing ticket volumes, device compliance, and any risks or escalations.
Requirements
Proficiency within Intune for managing endpoints.
Ability to manage endpoint devices and ensure compliance with security standards.
Expertise in M365 user account and license management.
Strong knowledge of Windows 11 operating systems.
Skilled in troubleshooting IT issues and providing effective resolutions.
Strong organizational and documentation skills for tracking inventory and access changes.
