Ab Initio Developer

Description
We are seeking an Ab Initio Developer to
support large-scale data orchestration and batch processing initiatives that feed document
creation and fulfillment platforms. This role is highly hands-on and centers on analyzing existing
Ab Initio-based flows, then helping design, develop, and orchestrate new or evolving batch
processes that send data to multiple downstream systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team to understand what is currently in
place today and help transition, enhance, or extend those workflows. While Ab Initio is the
primary technology, future development may incorporate Java, Spark, or Python depending on
architectural direction.
This is a Columbus-only, 12-month contract role. (7+ years) Experience is preferred,
though candidates with 5+ years may be considered if depth and maturity are demonstrated
during interviews.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience preferred (5+ considered with strong depth)
- Strong hands-on Ab Initio development experience (GDE, orchestration, batch frameworks)
- Proven experience analyzing and modernizing existing batch and ETL workflows
- Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in regulated, large-scale batch environments

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
