Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Alteryx Administrator/Alteryx Developer to manage, support, and optimize the enterprise Alteryx platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Server administration, workflow management, platform monitoring, security, and troubleshooting. The role will work closely with development, data, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure reliable and secure delivery of Alteryx-based analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Alteryx Server environments across development, test, and production.
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Alteryx Server and related platform components.
Manage Alteryx workflows, schedules, users, roles, permissions, and collections.
Monitor server health, workflow execution, resource utilization, and platform performance.
Troubleshoot failed workflows, connectivity issues, scheduling problems, and server-related incidents.
Configure and manage data connections and external database integrations.
Implement security controls, access management, and platform governance.
Support Alteryx Server upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery activities.
Collaborate with Alteryx developers and data engineering teams to resolve workflow and platform issues.
Optimize Alteryx Server performance, scalability, and reliability.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support processes.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Server Administration.
Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting Alteryx Server.
Knowledge of Alteryx Designer and Alteryx workflow execution.
Experience managing users, roles, permissions, schedules, and collections.
Strong understanding of Alteryx Server architecture and its underlying components.
Experience with Windows Server administration.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with server monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with authentication and access management, including Active Directory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, application administration, or platform administration.
Strong hands-on experience specifically supporting and administering Alteryx Server in enterprise environments.
