Senior Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Network Engineer in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across corporate, data center, warehouse, distribution, and retail environments
* Support wired and wireless networks, data center connectivity, telecom services, and network infrastructure across multiple locations
* Lead network implementation efforts for new sites, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity
* Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex network performance, connectivity, and availability issues
* Configure and support Aruba networking technologies within a large enterprise environment
* Collaborate with security teams on firewall and network security requirements, including Palo Alto technologies
* Partner with telecom providers, technology vendors, infrastructure teams, and field support resources on network projects and issue resolution
* Assist with network architecture improvements, upgrades, capacity planning, and new technology initiatives
* Support continued expansion of cloud connectivity and infrastructure as the environment evolves
* Identify opportunities to improve network resiliency, automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Network or security certifications are preferred
* 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience
* Strong experience with Aruba networking technologies is required
* Broad knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, data center networking, and telecom technologies
* Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networks across multi-site environments
* Strong understanding of enterprise wireless networking and connectivity
* Experience with Palo Alto firewalls or related network security technologies preferred
* Experience supporting network infrastructure for new facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, or similar large-scale environments is a plus
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or cloud networking concepts preferred
* Exposure to network automation using Python, REST APIs, or similar technologies is a plus
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and vendor management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
