The Lead Developer is responsible for overseeing the design, architecture, and delivery of advanced solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This leadership role acts as the primary technical authority, translating high-level business requirements into scalable technical designs while ensuring platform health, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, architecture, and delivery of complex Canvas and Model-Driven apps, Power Automate workflows, and Dataverse data models.
- Guide the end-to-end solution lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical designs that balance functionality with maintainability.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, serving as the lead technical authority for app development decisions.
- Establish and participate in governance efforts, including best practices, reusable components, and architecture guidelines.
- Support citizen development initiatives by providing architectural guidance and reviewing solutions for risk and quality.
- Ensure all solutions meet organizational standards for performance, security, and scalability.
- Manage ongoing optimization and troubleshooting of complex technical issues across the platform.
Required Qualifications:
- Deep technical expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365.
- Proven experience in integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems and APIs.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and architectural design.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional IT teams and present technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
- Experience in lifecycle management and establishing development standards in an enterprise environment.
