Job Title: Lead I – Enterprise Solutions (Coupa Consultant)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Coupa Consultant with strong AIC (AI Classification) implementation expertise to serve as a data expert and strategic support resource. This role will ensure alignment between internal procurement data standards and enterprise systems including Coupa, Portfolio Portal, and ERP platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in procurement data taxonomy, classification, supplier normalization, and AI-driven data enrichment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for procurement data structure and taxonomy.

• Provide expertise in Coupa AIC (AI Classification) implementation.

• Validate classifications, supplier normalization processes, and enrichment outputs.

• Ensure standardization and harmonization of Coupa and broader procurement data.

• Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders (SCJ) and Coupa to ensure smooth execution of data cleansing and enrichment initiatives.

• Support consolidation and alignment of procurement data across Coupa and ERP systems.

• Assist in enabling accurate commodity and material group classification.

• Support generation of actionable spend analysis insights.

Project Scope

The Coupa AIC initiative aims to:

• Cleanse and standardize procurement data

• Classify commodities and material groups accurately

• Normalize and enrich supplier records

• Consolidate procurement data from Coupa and ERP systems

• Leverage AI and rule-based models for classification

• Perform manual validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Coupa (Procurement & Spend Management)

• Proven expertise in Coupa AIC (AI Classification) implementation

• Deep understanding of procurement data taxonomy and classification frameworks

• Experience with data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment initiatives

• Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement data integration

• Strong analytical skills with spend analysis experience

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently in a remote environment
