Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint design. As a key member of the Media Design team, you will conceptualize, design, and develop engaging presentations, digital assets, and print collateral to support our client's Sales and Marketing divisions-both domestic and international-as well as other departments as needed.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Transform conceptual ideas and content into creative, organized PowerPoint presentations.
- Design, develop, and refine print and digital marketing materials for multiple channels.
- Produce technical documentation such as illustrations, drawings, instruction sheets, and manuals.
- Operate and become familiar with in-house equipment (training provided), including large format printers and scanners, binding/trimming equipment, and POS systems.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements Technical Requirements:- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat DC and Mac OS X.
Top Must-Haves:- A portfolio showcasing your design experience.
- Certificate or degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 2+ years of related experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proof materials for quality control.
- Solid understanding of graphic design elements including font management, illustration, and photography.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving, innovation, and initiative in delivering effective solutions.
- Ability to both work independently and collaborate as part of a team; receptive to direction from design leads.
- Competence in multi-tasking across various formats, channels, and projects.
- Experience training or mentoring team members and juggling multiple departmental needs.
- Occasional involvement in product loadouts and staging.
