Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Developer / Senior ERP Software Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support applications within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on JDE development experience, including JDE Orchestrator, Oracle JDE Tools, integrations, reporting, web services, and SQL Server.
This role will work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and fellow developers to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and high-quality technical solutions while supporting and optimizing the JDE EnterpriseOne ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment.
- Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Develop technical specifications, perform testing, and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Support, troubleshoot, and enhance existing JDE applications to ensure system stability, reliability, and performance.
- Design and develop JDE Orchestrations, integrations, and automation workflows to streamline business processes.
- Develop and support integrations using web services and related technologies.
- Work with reporting tools such as SSRS, ReportsNow, and JDE BI Publisher.
- Manage development priorities and deliver work in accordance with established project management and IT standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the overall technology roadmap.
- Follow software development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC, along with ITIL-based service management practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience across multiple JDE technical areas.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle JD Edwards Tools and EnterpriseOne development.
- Experience with JDE functional modules, including:
- Core Financials
- Job Costing
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Real Estate / Property Management
- Strong hands-on experience with JDE Orchestrator, including:
- Custom Orchestrations
- Integrations
- Automation workflows
- Business process automation
- Experience with SSRS, ReportsNow, and/or JDE BI Publisher.
- Experience with client/server development, web services, and MS SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, and ITIL-based service management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in the Homebuilder Construction industry.
- Experience with MASYC Homebuilder Sales Solution.
- Exposure to BI tools, data integration platforms, and extract/translation programs.
- Experience developing SOPs and IT operational best practices.
- Knowledge of advanced JDE development processes and methodologies.
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
