Summary

We are looking for Machine Operator for our client in Salt Lake City, UT

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $19.15hr - $24.15hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Secondary/High School diploma.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to follow established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with tasks such as cutting, punching, forming, drilling, tapping, turning, milling, and stamping.
  • Ability to select and measure raw materials and parts to specifications.
  • Developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
  • Successful completion of basic background check.
  • Successful completion of 11-panel drug and fentanyl screening.
  • Successful completion of medical screenings including vision, vitals, and urine analysis.
  • Successful completion of whisper test, audiogram, and noise/hearing questionnaire.
  • Successful completion of spirometry and OSHA respirator questionnaire.
  • Successful completion of a 30-pound lifting assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
  • Sets up equipment operation feed, speed, and temperature.
  • Fabricates, forms, or shapes manufactured parts, tools, or parts assemblies from raw materials.
  • Resolves issues related to the organization s production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations.
  • Performs the full range of established procedures within Manufacturing/Operations.
  • Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval.
  • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.

Qualification And Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements(Due to nature of job, The candidate must have):

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs routinely.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more with assistance.
  • Ability to lift and push 2500KG s in an 8-hour shift.
