Summary

Commissioning Analytics Specialist 100% Remote

We are seeking a Commissioning Analytics Manager to support one of the world’s largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) developers. This role focuses on commissioning, performance testing, and analytics for utility‑scale energy storage and solar‑coupled power systems, acting as the Owner’s Representative throughout testing and startup.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of hands‑on field experience with BESS, Solar PV, or Wind
Experience with plant and performance testing, including:
Capacity testing
ISO, PPA, GIA, or LGIA testing
Inverter testing
Strong understanding of DC systems (0–2,000Vdc) and AC systems (480V–34.5kV)
Experience working with SCADA systems

Nice to Have

Experience with Ignition SCADA
Prior experience supporting or overseeing utility‑scale commissioning

Responsibilities

Support PPA, GIA, LGIA, and ISO testing with customers and transmission operators
Perform and support OEM testing, capacity testing, plant balancing, and performance testing
Manage test energy forecasts and commissioning schedules
Collaborate with SCADA teams, integrators, and commissioning PMs
Support site acceptance testing, alarm verification, and system functional checks
Review performance data and identify deficiencies
Participate in safety programs and audits
