IT Sourcing Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Sourcing Specialist in Saint Louis, MO.

Summary:
Our client is seeking an IT Sourcing Specialist to support IT procurement and strategic sourcing activities. This role manages a high volume of procurement requests, coordinates cross functional stakeholders, and drives requests from intake through purchase order completion. The ideal candidate combines strong organization, critical thinking, project coordination, and execution skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a queue of procurement requests including statements of work, software purchases, and contract extensions
* Coordinate stakeholders and guide requests through the end-to-end procurement process
* Maintain schedules, priorities, and status updates for business partners
* Support category management, sourcing, supplier management, and procurement initiatives
* Conduct spend, supplier, and market analysis to support sourcing decisions
* Assist with competitive solicitations, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain, Digital, or a related field
* 5+ years of directly relevant experience or MS with 3+ years of experience
* Project management or IT delivery experience
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Customer focused mindset
* Self-starter with a strong execution mindset and ability to meet deadlines
* Curiosity and willingness to ask questions to fully understand requirements
* Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to build and manage schedules
* Hybrid 3 days/week onsite after initial onboarding period

Preferred Skills:
* Category management experience
* Spend analysis, market analysis, and strategic sourcing experience
* Negotiation and contract management experience
* Supplier relationship management experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
