Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting a leading gaming franchise. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building data pipelines, designing scalable data models, and developing data-serving APIs on cloud platforms and a proven ability to deliver analytics and data products that enable measurable business outcomes across creator programs, product, and marketing.

Top 3 must have skills:

Python 4-5 years

Data modeling 3 years

Cloud experience 2 years (Azure preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Develop subject matter expertise in business and data domains to collaborate with stakeholders and assist with data access and usability.


• Identify and analyze multi-structured datasets to select accurate data that meets analytics requirements, documenting sources and definitions.


• Design data models, architect dataflows, and create abstractions that scale for analytics and machine learning and evolve with changing needs.


• Build and maintain automated data pipelines using modern frameworks to transform logs and event streaming data into clean, enriched information.


• Advance infrastructure by developing frameworks, reusable components, and capabilities that improve reliability and delivery speed.


• Develop secure, performant enterprise-grade data-serving API endpoints and underlying data products and analytics solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.


• 2+ years as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer with regular business collaboration on large enterprise systems.


• Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-scale pipelines for logs and event streams on cloud data platforms using tools such as Spark and Airflow. Azure experience preferred.


• Proficiency with SQL and advanced Python skills for data transformation and automation.


• Backend development experience building secure and performant enterprise-grade APIs. Azure experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver data products and analytics that drive business impact and enable decision making.


• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and data exploration skills to identify, select, and prepare data for analytics.


• Business acumen with working knowledge of DevOps and DataOps practices.


• Familiarity with the video game domain as a player or industry professional.
