In Corporate Risk Management we provide an integrated risk management strategy that supports the delivery of predictable financial and operational performance to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes. We are organized around six primary functions: Enterprise Risk; Credit, Market and Investment Risk; Information Security Risk; Model Risk; Operational Risk; and Financial Crimes Risk. Specifically, our Financial Crimes Risk team handles the risk of loss in Money Movement services offered through Schwab Bank and Brokerage affiliates, and risk of Money Laundering by various bad actors. The role is within our Strategy Execution Data Automation (SEDA) team, located within Financial Crimes risk Management (FCRM) Organization.

We are seeking a Systems Data Analyst to support data-driven decision making by pulling, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple systems to support Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) teams. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and analytical skills with an understanding of financial crimes risk and can leverage AI-enabled analytics and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and insight quality-while operating within governance and model-risk expectations.

At Schwab, we understand that a highly collaborative environment allows for being wrong sometimes as part of growing and building trust together. • Apply AI-enabled analytics tools or techniques (e.g., automation, pattern detection, anomaly identification) to improve analytical outcomes
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Partner with business and technology teams to understand requirements and data needs
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory or management reporting as needed
  • Document data definitions, logic, assumptions, and AI usage to ensure transparency and repeatability
