Role: Data Architect (Demand Chain & Sales/Marketing)
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ months

Overview:
Seeking a Data Architect to design and implement scalable data solutions supporting demand chain and sales/marketing initiatives. This role focuses on building robust data platforms, enabling analytics, and ensuring efficient data processing across systems.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop data architecture for data lakes and data warehouses
Build and optimize data pipelines using Spark and SQL-based technologies
Work with cloud-based data platforms and distributed data systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics and business needs
Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability
Support CI/CD processes and version control for data workflows

Requirements:

Strong experience with SQL, Spark SQL, and DataFrames
2+ years of Python experience
Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Spark ecosystems
Experience with AWS services (e.g., Redshift, EMR, Athena, Aurora, S3)
Expertise in data lake and data warehouse design
Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
Working knowledge of Java
Comfortable working in Linux environments

Nice to Have:

Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Cascading)
Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Knowledge of data governance and MDM practices
Exposure to data science tools and workflows
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
