Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager/Scrum Master - Hybrid position (2 days on site) with a Health Insurance Provider located in Eagan, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $65-70 W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role will lead technology initiatives from planning through delivery while incorporating Agile/Scrum practices to support effective team execution. This position is best suited for someone with a strong project management background who can also facilitate Agile ceremonies and help teams maintain delivery momentum.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead technology projects from initiation through implementation and delivery
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
- Coordinate across business, technology, vendor, and stakeholder teams
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Track project and sprint progress and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks
- Partner with Product Owners and technical teams to establish priorities and maintain alignment
- Support resource planning and coordination across multiple workstreams
- Drive accountability and ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives
- Apply Agile practices pragmatically based on the needs of the project and team
Primary Requirements: - 5+ years of IT project management, Scrum Master, or related delivery experience
- Strong project planning, organization, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum technology environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and cross-functional teams
- Experience working with Jira
Desired Skills: - Healthcare experience preferred
- Scrum/Agile certification preferred but not required
- One of the following certifications: Certified scrum master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe or LeSS
- Exposure to Jira Cloud
