Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise / Semantic Architect to define, implement, and govern enterprise-level architecture and ontology-driven solutions across platforms and domains. This role will focus on enabling interoperability, ensuring data consistency, and driving semantic alignment across systems using scalable, standards-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise and semantic architecture frameworks aligned with business strategy
• Design, develop, and govern semantic models, ontologies, and taxonomies
• Enable interoperability across systems, platforms, and domains
• Establish architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into architecture designs
• Review solution designs for semantic consistency and architectural compliance
• Support API, integration, and data architecture initiatives with semantic alignment
• Drive adoption of industry standards and reference models
• Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and governance forums

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and design principles
• Hands-on experience with semantic modeling, ontologies, and controlled vocabularies
• Expertise in data modeling, metadata management, and information architecture
• Experience with system integration, APIs, and data exchange patterns
• Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience implementing semantic data virtualization (e.g., R2RML mappings)
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs and integration with analytics pipelines
• Proficiency with:
  • Semantic stores and reasoners
  • SPARQL, GraphQL, and API-based semantic services
• Experience building scalable semantic solutions
