Overview:
This person owns the end-to-end social strategy for their title portfolio — translating marketing priorities into fan-forward social campaigns with a defined strategic and creative POV. This role is pivotal in ensuring that social strategy and creative is aligned with the overall campaign and works closely with Marketing/Creative/Publicity and other internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has prior experience working in digital marketing and/or social media, creating partnerships with colleagues across divisions, managing people and teams, and is passionate about entertainment.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and oversee data-driven social strategies across multiple titles and franchises, ensuring platform-native creative and fan engagement goals are met at scale
Serve as the final touchpoint across all elements of the social campaign – including creative, copy, tone of voice, etc.
Lead and mentor a team of Managers, Coordinators, and Producers/Editors across assigned shows, driving creative and strategic excellence and operational efficiency
Serve as the primary social contact for EPs and internal stakeholders across all assigned titles, presenting social plans and content on a consistent basis
Develop social tone of voice, strategy, and creative concepts alongside show Managers and Producers
Collaborate cross-functionally with Paramount+ Marketing, Creative, Publicity, and other internal partners to ensure cohesive campaign execution
Champion process improvements, platform best practices, and new tools and vendors to elevate the broader team''s output
Stay ahead of cultural trends and platform evolution to ensure the team''s content strategies remain innovative and effective
At a high level, oversee post-production process alongside assigned producers and editors to ensure that content is on strategy, socially optimized, and adhering to brand guidelines
Partner closely with Research team to ensure the team has the tools and data needed to optimize content in real time
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, television, and/or entertainment
Demonstrated track record of developing and executing innovative social/digital marketing campaigns
Familiarity with tactics used to build fan communities
Experience in managing teams
Proficiency in social content development, execution and best practices across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X
Additional Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of existing and emerging social platforms
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple titles and timelines simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Understanding of scripted television production and the content marketing lifecycle
A cooperative, team-focused approach with strong cross-functional collaboration instincts
Experience with AirTable or comparable asset management tools
Comfortable with MS Office suite, Google suite and Slack
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
