Our client is a premier global investment management firm based in a state-of-the-art office on the Chicago River. As they expand their Chicago presence, they are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Analyst to join their collateral operations team. This role is a perfect fit for a marketing intern or junior analyst who enjoys the intersection of data integrity, brand consistency, and high-volume asset management within a sophisticated corporate environment.
In this role, you will be the final line of defense for the firm's public-facing investment materials. You won't be writing copy or designing graphics; instead, you will focus on the critical "last mile" of marketing-validating data, ensuring version control, and navigating the internal approval landscape. You will work across IT, Performance, and Legal teams to ensure that over 300 pieces of monthly and quarterly collateral are accurate, compliant, and ready for the global market.
Requirements - Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a marketing operations, data entry, or analyst role (strong internships in large corporate environments will be considered).
- Technical Proficiency: Experience navigating web-based content management systems or data portals; familiarity with Seismic or similar document automation tools is a major plus.
- Financial Literacy: A foundational understanding of financial terms (e.g., Mutual Funds, ETFs, or credit ratings) and a desire to learn the nuances of investment data.
- Location & Presence: Must be based in the Chicago area and able to work from the office 3 days per week (Hybrid).
Responsibilities - Asset Approval & Quality Control: Conduct meticulous data-quality checks on quarterly fact sheets and commentaries, comparing current performance figures against historical data to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Workflow Coordination: Manage the end-to-end production cycle of marketing materials, from receiving raw data from providers to generating finalized PDFs through internal automated systems.
- Compliance & Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate the internal approval process by coordinating with Compliance and Media teams to secure FINRA-compliant sign-offs for all public materials.
- High-Volume Execution: Support the team during peak "cyclical" months (Jan, April, July, Oct) by tracking the status of 300+ pieces of collateral and ensuring all updates are implemented across public sites.
Compensation and Culture This position offers a pay rate of up to
$35/hour on a contract basis through the end of the year, with a strong potential for extension. You will work in a world-class office space in a role that provides deep visibility into the operations of a global financial leader. This is an ideal "foot-in-the-door" opportunity for a junior professional looking to build a career in marketing operations, compliance, or financial data analysis.
