job summary:

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Tallahassee. This is a 100% onsite position as this is a pivotal role for a technical expert who thrives in complex environments. You will serve as a Technical Lead, driving the evolution of our ERP landscape by overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle from initial design and coding to implementation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate brings a decade of mastery in ABAP/4 and, crucially, has "boots on the ground" experience leading Brownfield migrations from SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA. responsibilities:

• Lead the technical execution of Brownfield upgrades, ensuring a seamless transition of custom code and functional logic from ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex ABAP/4 programs across core modules including FI/CA, FI, MD, SD, and GL.
• Build and deploy standard and custom Fiori Applications using Fiori Elements, Business Application Studio (BAS), and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Develop robust Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using Gateway Services, REST, and SOAP to ensure fluid data exchange across systems.
• Manage data archiving processes and utilize the Business Data Toolset (BDT) to enhance system performance and maintainability.
• Act as a primary technical point of contact, communicating complex technical concepts to functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Perform deep-dive technical work within SAP ECC FI-CA, focusing on Business Partner and Contract Account maintenance, Dunning, and Reconciliation processes.
• Leverage the SAP CRM "one order" framework and Business Add-ins (BAdIs) to support Activity and Business Partner Management.

qualifications:

Required Consultant Knowledge and Hands-on Experience provided by Contractor, shall include:

- Minimum of 10 years' experience in SAP ABAP/4 Programming (FI/CA, FI, MD, SD, and GL Modules) with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher in analyst, design, code, implementation, upgrades, and maintenance.

- Technical Hands-on Lead Experience implementing SAP S/4 HANA using the Brownfield approach to upgrade SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4 HANA.

Preferred Knowledge and Hands-on Experience:

- Technical Experience in SAP Business Data Toolset (BDT).

- Technical Experience in the design and development process of archiving SAP data.

-Technical Experience in Application Programming Interface (API) Development with Gateway Services and newer technology.

- Technical Experience in design and development of custom and standard Fiori Applications using Fiori Elements.

- Technical Experience in creation and deployment of SAP Fiori Apps using BAS on BTP to the S/4HANA System.

- Technical Experience in SAP CRM Activity Management and Business Partner Management.

-Technical Experience using SAP CRM one order framework Business Add-ins.

- Proficient in SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cockpit.

- Strong Communication Skills to exchange functional and technical information with internal technical and functional staff, and external organizations.

- Technical hands-on experience in SAP ECC FI-CA (Finance and Contract Accounting): Business Partner Maintenance.

- Contract Account Maintenance, Sales Order Maintenance, Dunning, Reconciliation, and General Ledger Accounting.

- Experience working with the SAP ECC Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial (FI) and General Ledger (GL) modules and other ECC technical environments.

- Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP objects and other modern SAP technologies.

- Experience with REST/SOAP
