Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Developer & Data Migration Engineer to support enterprise PLM initiatives involving Siemens Teamcenter customization, integration, and large-scale data migration activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Teamcenter development, BMIDE customization, ITK/SOA development, and migration of legacy engineering data into Teamcenter environments.

The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver scalable PLM solutions and ensure successful migration and validation of product data.

Key Responsibilities

Teamcenter Development

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain Siemens Teamcenter solutions.
  • Perform Teamcenter configuration and customization using BMIDE.
  • Develop and maintain ITK, SOA, RAC, and Active Workspace customizations.
  • Create workflows, handlers, exits, queries, preferences, and access controls.
  • Develop integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise systems such as ERP, CAD, MES, and other applications.
  • Support deployment, testing, debugging, and performance tuning activities.
  • Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, and solution implementation.

Data Migration

  • Lead and execute Teamcenter data migration projects from legacy PLM/PDM systems.
  • Analyze source data structures and map data to Teamcenter objects and schemas.
  • Develop migration scripts, ETL processes, and automation tools.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Handle migration of BOMs, CAD files, documents, metadata, and relationships.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout migration cycles.
  • Support cutover planning and post-migration validation activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter development and administration.
  • Experience with:
  • BMIDE
  • ITK
  • SOA
  • Active Workspace (AWC)
  • RAC customization
  • Workflow customization
  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter data model and architecture.
  • Experience in PLM data migration and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, SQL, XML, or scripting languages.
  • Experience with Teamcenter upgrade/migration projects.
  • Familiarity with CAD integrations such as NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with T4S/T4EA integration.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud or enterprise PLM deployments.
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools.
  • Siemens Teamcenter certifications are a plus.
