Project Manager/Scrum Lead

Description

We are looking for a Project Manager/Scrum Lead to support a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative based in San Ramon, California. This role is ideal for a hands-on agile leader who can turn Jira data into meaningful insights, strengthen delivery performance, and guide teams through complex program demands. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to improve visibility, surface risks early, and help maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities:
Lead agile delivery activities by coordinating sprint planning, backlog refinement, and execution tracking across multiple workstreams.
Use advanced Jira capabilities to build dashboards, monitor delivery trends, and present clear status reporting to leadership.
Evaluate team metrics and project data to identify emerging risks, constraints, and areas that may impact delivery timelines.
Partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to align priorities, resolve blockers, and support informed decision-making.
Drive proactive planning and follow-through for a long-term enterprise modernization program with broad organizational impact.
Support program oversight for a major back-office transformation, including activities tied to an Oracle and PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade effort.
Facilitate agile ceremonies when needed while maintaining focus on delivery outcomes, performance insights, and accountability.
Communicate progress, dependencies, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders across the program structure.

Requirements

Proven experience serving as a Scrum Lead, Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or Project Manager within complex enterprise environments.
Advanced hands-on expertise with Jira, including dashboard development, backlog oversight, sprint management, and reporting.
Strong ability to analyze delivery metrics and convert project data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Demonstrated success identifying risks, bottlenecks, and project health concerns before they affect execution.
Experience supporting large transformation or enterprise application programs involving platforms such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar systems.
Solid background in agile delivery and IT project management within cross-functional teams.
PMP certification and practical knowledge of Scrum or Agile methodologies are highly valued.
