Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead high-impact enterprise initiatives in Newport Beach, California. This role will guide complex, cross-functional programs that improve business processes, strengthen operational performance, and enhance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, sound project governance, and the ability to align business and technology teams around measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Direct multiple enterprise-level projects from initial planning through launch and post-implementation support, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives remain on track.
Build and oversee project frameworks, including charters, schedules, financial plans, resource assignments, and milestone tracking.
Lead governance activities by organizing executive updates, steering committee sessions, and stakeholder reviews that support informed decision-making.
Monitor scope, interdependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and key decisions, and take action to keep delivery momentum strong.
Prepare and maintain project reporting materials such as dashboards, status summaries, logs, and leadership presentations.
Manage initiatives involving Microsoft Dynamics 365, including Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement, Power Platform, reporting, and connected systems.
Coordinate collaboration across business teams, technical resources, testing groups, trainers, and external implementation partners to ensure smooth execution.
Support critical delivery phases such as release readiness, user acceptance testing, deployment planning, cutover coordination, and stabilization activities.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience leading medium- to large-scale IT or business transformation projects.
Demonstrated background managing cross-functional teams and overseeing several workstreams at the same time.
Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, or related Microsoft business platforms.
Solid understanding of project delivery approaches, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and overall project controls.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Planner, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
PMP certification is preferred, and experience with Power Platform, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure integration tools, or third-party consulting partners is an advantage.
