Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Development Engineer with 5+ years of experience in packaging design, development, and technology transfer. This role focuses on developing innovative packaging components and systems, supporting manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute packaging development activities including design, testing, and production scale-up
• Compile and analyze data, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manufacturing sites, and vendors
• Ensure compliance, consistency, and quality across packaging processes
• Manage multiple projects involving material selection, packaging design, and process changes
• Support manufacturing investigations and optimize packaging materials and processes
• Translate technical outputs into clear specifications and documentation
• Utilize CAD tools, modeling, and simulation for packaging design and development
• Drive alignment of packaging strategies with business and innovation goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Technology, Mechanical, Polymer, Plastics, or Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in packaging development or technology transfer
• Experience in CPG, food, or pharmaceutical industries
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, regulations, and processes
• Proficiency in data analysis and scientific problem-solving
• Experience with CAD, modeling, or simulation tools
• Strong project management and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Kenvue or similar organizations
• Exposure to ESG, sustainability, and cost optimization initiatives
• Knowledge of external packaging ecosystem and vendors
